1. Your agreement with Nzitsa
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Nzitsa AI Labs, including Nzitsa Chat, Dataset Studio, Nzitsa Studio, developer APIs and related platform services operated by Nzitsa Platforms in Lusaka, Zambia. Read them before creating or using an account. Contact legal@nzitsa.com with questions.
By actively checking the acceptance box, you agree to this version of the terms and acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Notice. Acceptance is recorded against your account. Merely visiting this page does not record acceptance. If you disagree, do not create an account or continue using authenticated services.
2. Accounts and access
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement to create or use an account. Accounts for people under 18 are not available in this release. If acting for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it. Provide accurate account information, protect your password and API keys, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.
An account or invitation does not automatically grant administrative or engineering permissions. Access is subject to the roles assigned to you. Do not share access, evade usage limits, impersonate another person or access another user’s data without permission.
3. AI limitations and responsible use
AI outputs can be inaccurate, biased, incomplete or unsuitable. Check important information and review generated code before use or publication. Outputs are not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and are not a guarantee of a particular outcome.
You remain responsible for decisions, applications and publications that use the service. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for decisions affecting someone’s rights, health, safety, employment, credit or access to essential services.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, exploitation, harmful discrimination, malicious code, unauthorised surveillance or attempts to compromise systems. Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality rights.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card secrets, confidential information you lack permission to disclose, or sensitive personal data unless an authorised service and an appropriate lawful basis expressly permit it. We may restrict misuse, investigate security incidents and comply with lawful requests.
5. Your content, datasets and applications
As between you and Nzitsa, you retain the rights you already hold in your inputs and content. You grant Nzitsa permission to process that content to provide the services you request, operate your account and protect the platform, as explained in the Privacy Notice. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Nzitsa.
You must have the necessary permissions and licences for datasets, models, code and other material you use or publish. Public availability does not mean unrestricted use. AI output may resemble other material; we do not promise it is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights.
6. External AI and hosting providers
Some requests are processed by external services, including OpenRouter, its model providers and Hugging Face. Their availability, model behaviour and relevant usage rules may affect the service. Review model information and do not assume every provider offers the same data handling or capabilities.
Nzitsa Chat uses a model configured by the platform administrator. Chat requests allow provider data use: the provider may retain submitted messages and conversation context, use them for training, or publish them under its policies. This is disclosed beside the Chat composer; there is no separate Chat privacy checkbox. Do not submit personal information, secrets, confidential material or other people’s information. If this data handling is unsuitable, do not send content through Chat. Other AI features have their own data-handling controls. A model is not guaranteed to answer every question.
Linking an external account authorises only the permissions you approve. Organisation membership does not automatically make every resource public or authorise every platform user. Publishing applications, datasets or models can make the content accessible to others; review the destination and visibility before publication.
7. AI Credits and paid services
Free models and allowances may have limits. Paid inference uses AI Credits at the rate displayed for the selected approved model. Review the applicable rate and maximum usage before submitting a request. Any purchase must clearly show its price, taxes or fees, credits supplied and payment conditions before confirmation. Only use a payment method you are authorised to use.
AI Credits are service-use units, not a bank deposit or investment. A purchase does not guarantee provider availability or a particular AI result. Model rates may change prospectively; completed usage is governed by its recorded rate. We do not silently substitute paid inference for a free selection.
Keep your transaction records. Contact legal@nzitsa.com about incorrect deductions, failed paid requests, cancellations or refunds. We will investigate and provide any remedy required by applicable law. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights. Additional purchase conditions must be shown before payment; these terms do not authorise recurring billing by themselves.
8. Availability, changes and suspension
Services may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages or other reasons. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, no uninterrupted availability or service-level guarantee is provided. Keep independent copies of important content and deployment artefacts.
We may suspend or end access for material breach, abuse, non-payment or security and legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us. Suspension does not remove lawful rights to transaction remedies or personal-data requests.
9. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, services are provided on an as-available basis without promises that every output is accurate or fit for your particular purpose. You should assess suitability before relying on them.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, fraud or other mandatory legal obligations. This agreement does not require you to waive rights provided by Zambian law.
10. Privacy and communications
The Privacy Notice explains account information, prompts, retained content, credentials and operational records. Acknowledging that notice is not blanket consent to optional marketing or every use of personal data. Optional permissions must be requested separately when required.
We may send necessary account, invitation, security and service messages. You can contact legal@nzitsa.com about privacy, account closure or a dispute.
11. Changes to these terms
The version and effective date appear on this page. Material changes require fresh account acceptance before continued authenticated use; we do not mark you as having accepted merely because the code was updated. Existing acceptance records are retained as evidence of the version accepted.
12. Questions and disputes
Contact Nzitsa Platforms at legal@nzitsa.com with the issue and relevant account or transaction reference, but do not send passwords or API keys. We will seek to resolve complaints in good faith. These terms are governed by Zambian law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. They do not prevent you from approaching a competent regulator or court.
